Cof·fin-Sir·is syndrome (kŏfĭn-sĭrˈĭs)

noun
An inherited syndrome that in males causes mental retardation with a wide bulbous nose and low nasal bridge, moderate hirsutism, and digital anomalies with nail hypoplasia. In females the syndrome may cause digital abnormalities and mild mental retardation. Also called Coffin-Lowry syndrome.
