All of the vendors who sell components that are needed to create a finished good that can be sold to customers. A complicated product with many components has a large supply chain. Research departments of brokerage firms conduct surveys of supply chains, especially in the technology area, because each component of the supply chain is critical to the prospects of the company that uses the supply chain.
