Section 8 definition - finance
A
rental program for low-income individuals, run by the Federal Housing
Administration, that allows renters to rent an apartment that they otherwise
could not afford. The FHA then sends Section 8 payments to the landlord with
the renter paying only a small portion of the fair-market rent.
