A futures exchange located in New York City that was formed in 1998 when it became the parent company of the Coffee, Cocoa and Sugar Exchange (CCSE) and the New York Cotton Exchange (NYCE). Coffee, cocoa, and sugar contracts are traded on the CCSE, along with the Standard & PoorÂ’s Commodity Index futures. Cotton and orange juice futures are traded on the NYCE. Futures on 25 currency pairs also trade on the NYBOT. Also on the exchange is the New York Futures Exchange (NYFE), where futures contracts trade on the CRB/Bridge Index, the Reuters CRB Index, the Russell 1000 Index, the NYSE Composite Index, and the U.S. Dollar Index.
