MSCI EM EMEA Index definition - finance
The Morgan Stanley Capital International Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa Index, a free float-adjusted market capitalization index that is designed to measure equity-market performance in the emerging market countries of Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. As of August 2002, the MSCI EM EMEA Index consisted of the following ten emerging market country indices: the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Russia, Turkey, Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, and South Africa.
