money market certificate definition - finance
A certificate of deposit in a minimum denomination of $10,000 that typically has a maturity of six months. The interest rate on a money market certificate is related to the yield on six-month Treasury Bills, in accordance with regulations issued by the Depository Institutions Deregulation Committee.
