cash flow yield definition - finance
A financial ratio that measures how well a company generates cash from its current operations. Calculate cash flow yield by subtracting net cash flow from operating activities and dividing the resulting number by net income. This ratio measures a companyÂ’s cash-generating efficiency using cash flow. Other ratios accomplish a similar objective by using cash flows to sales and cash flows to assets.
